Bella is a Bernedoodle – a Bernese Mountain dog/Poodle cross. This hybrid brings out the best of both breeds – the Poodle’s clever goofiness and the placid loyalty of the Bernese. Bella is a 70lb (30kg) lap dog! A big baby, she is crazy and constantly wants attention.

At A3 size (40x30cm), her portrait is pretty much life-sized and created by applying pastel in layers to gradually build up the depth of her fur. It’s amazing just how many different colours are involved.
