Inspiration can strike when you least expect it…
On a recent family day out to our local bird of prey centre, I had the opportunity to hold this super-cute little Barn Owl – I’ve always had a fascination with nature and a particular soft spot for owls. Realising she would make a lovely subject for a pencil portrait, I decided to start work on creating a portfolio of wildlife portraits in pencil and coloured pencil.
