Greyhound Portraits

Greyhounds were historically bred for coursing game, and nowadays for racing – able to achieve 43mph within the first 30m (only six strides!) of a race. They are adapted to travel well and socialise with other dogs, which makes them ideal family pets, requiring surprisingly little exercise. The Greyhound’s unique physiology gives an unmistakable appearance, leading to a distinctive pencil portrait with careful shading used to pick out every detail of their muscles. Find out how to commission your Greyhound pencil portrait here.
