Four year-old Cockapoo Tilly loves chasing squirrels and she loves swimming to fetch sticks, from either rivers or the sea. She can be quite independent and doesn’t always want to sit on your lap (unless she’s wet of course!) so it’s lovely when she does want to.

 

My aim with all pet portraits is to capture some of that unique character, that Cockapoos especially, have loads of. They also have an incredible depth to their curly fur, and I always try to include every detail. Working from good quality reference photographs is essential, and I’m really pleased with how Tilly’s portrait came out.
