English Springer Spaniels Bubba and Kona were sisters. Although, sadly, they passed away at just seven years old within months of each other, they both lived life to the full. True to their breed, they were full of energy – playing fetch for hours, taking any opportunity for a swim, roaming the hills and, of course, keeping a look out for cats.

 

A coloured pencil portrait like this is a fantastic way of remembering a beloved pet – keeping their character alive in your home, and I really hope I have done justice to this gorgeous pair of Spaniels.
